Want to Help

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Disaster Services.

The Lowcountry Chapter of the American Red Cross is always training new volunteers to better serve our community.  We approach this training in two ways: ongoing courses held at our chapter headquarters and an expedited one day training.  You are required to take one of the following two classes to give you an overall understanding of the Red Cross and how you can help prior to taking the second level function courses listed below.

          or

Both of these courses will give you an introduction to all of the volunteer opportunities our chapter has to offer.

Once you have completed one of the above courses, we suggest that you sign up for our online Disaster Services Orientation where you will get an introduction to the activities of Disaster Services and how you can fit in.  However, you may choose from any of the following courses.  To register online for any of the courses click on any of the listing below.  You may also call 764-2323 ext. 373 to register by phone.

Classes currently available through on-line registration or a phone call are in Bolded Red.
