Health and Safety Services
In addition to the Chapter Wide requirements, as described in "Step 1", you must do the following to become a "Volunteer Instructor"
- Take the Fundamentals of Instructor Training (FIT)-4 hours in length
- Pre-course knowledge and skills training
- Take the CPR/First Aid Instructor Course-20 hours over 5 days
- Mentor with an experienced instructor.
*Course fees are reduced to those training to be an instructor.
